ARISE ARTISTS
And MUSIC TEAM

On March 2, 2015, we release the first ARISE album being dedicated to suicide prevention.  We have spent the last year, writing, recording, editing, and making the music as good as we can with an incredible music team.

The artists of ARISE gladly have given their music to the cause of raising funds for suicide prevention non profits.

Each of our ARISE Artists have been hand picked because of their passion for helping inspire people with their musical talents.  They are willing to give of themselves and their music for the assistance of healing broken hearts and spirits.  This is the core of the ARISE project.  The producers, engineers, mixers, and editors also gave their all to work with the ARISE project.

https://www.facebook.com/MalloryOwnbeyMusic My experience with music started all the way back when I was 11. When I was 11, I got my first little record deal by getting noticed on YouTube from a video I uploaded only for my grandparents to see. I worked on a CD for two years, and the outcome was only experience. I learned so much in that two years and the things that I've learned still help me today! I have sang for; fairs, charity events, assemblies, pageants, church, 4th of July Fireworks, and I also won my first award this year by winning Kaysville Idol! I am also on the soundtrack for a new upcoming Broadway play/ movie called Changing Minds, and have played Gabrielle Montez in the High School Musical 2 play that my city put on. I am part of Arise because I believe that every single person on this earth has a purpose. However, my goal is to help everyone understand that our purposes can be far different from others. Some purposes might be to change another persons life by doing something simple, to invent something that changes the world, or to even do charity. They are all different! There are also millions of other purposes waiting to be fulfilled. Suicide is a heartbreaking occurrence every single time it happens, it's because everyone that knew that person will feel guilty. Thinking that they could of done some different, said something different, or helped them do something, would have stopped them from taking their life. Suicide can be a chain reaction. Every person needs to know that their heartbeat isn't just a heartbeat, its a purpose knocking.
http://www.reverbnation.com/prestonmusic Preston Johnson aka DJ Preston Lee is a 27-year-old rapper from Nashville. He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Brigham Young University—Idaho. He completed two radio internships with Riverbend Communications in Idaho Falls, ID and KSL in Salt Lake City. Preston has had three original and six parody songs played on top 40, country and news radio shows. He self-produced his first mixtape during his last semester of college while taking 19 credit hours. Preston is currently the rapper for the Idaho based cover band Brothers of Jared and performs all over East Idaho. He also is the program director and afternoon show host for Star 98, one of East Idaho's premier radio stations. I’m a regular dude with an irregular passion. I’m from Country Music City, but I love hip hop! I’m also driven to help people with mental illness especially those contemplating suicide. Several of my close family members, including myself, struggle with depression, bipolar and anxiety disorders. I’ve seen how mental illness destroys relationships, families and lives. It can take the most kind, caring, compassionate people and make them feel so awful they want to kill themselves. I understand the darkness and despair. I also know there is hope and help for our family and friends. Education and inspiration is the key to rescuing our loved ones when they are literally dying for someone to ARISE and reach out to them.
http://www.jodileemusic.com Not related to DJ Preston Lee, Jodi sing anything from classical to country, music from every genre has the unique ability to uplift and inspire those who listen. And inspiring others has always been Jodi's ultimate goal. A performer for most of her life, Jodi's passion for music began when she was only a child. A child singing prodigy Jodi's tremendous ability was discovered at the young age of five. Jodi may have been small in stature but crowds were astounded by her BIG voice. Jodi soon found a love for singing and performing. She loved the way it made her feel and the way it made others feel as well. Jodi's exceptional talent soon became very popular and widely known throughout her tightly-knit community. Most people referred to her as their "small-town star." She began singing at every available venue in town - weddings, funerals community and church events - Jodi hit them all. By the tender age of ten, Jodi began making a name for herself throughout the state of Utah and in no time, was singing in front of thousands in Las Vegas. From there Jodi was given the nickname "Little Stick of Dynamite." Jodi has spent her life sharing her gifts and talents traveling across the nation singing and performing for thousands. From recording and performing in Nashville to being one of 300 artist chosen out of 15,000 to perform at MMS held in Indianapolis. Jodi's Music has been enjoyed and heard throughout the World. Jodi's greatest gift isn't her BIG voice but rather her ability to connect to a lyric and allow her audience to tangible feel what she is singing. In conjunction with Jodi's music she has been speaking for the past 8 years to High schools and Youth groups throughout the state of Utah. While performing through the years, Jodi has passed up several opportunities to sign with labels. Jodi realized early on the importance of placing her family first and staying true to the music she is most passionate about. Jodi's ultimate goal is touching others through the Spirit of her music. Jodi recently lost her sister to suicide. She is well aware the effects it can have on loved ones. Jodi believes that saving just one person can save generations. The stigma of suicide keeps suicidal people from getting help. Jodi is determined to help shake the stigma of Suicide and get those struggling the help they deserve.
